To be fully mechanical, requiring no manual lifting to operate. To have spring counter-balance system. Lip to automatically extend. Manually retracting legs provide full rated capacity at dock level and will allow lowering of ramp below dock level without extending lip. Fixed rear hinge - no pinch point. Automatic night locks. Operation

Pulling chain releases hold-down mechanism, Dockleveler rises, and lip extends.
Operator walks out on ramp, lowering it to truck bed.
Loading/unloading proceeds.
Lip automatically retracts to protected position.
In stored position, ramp is fully supported by front angle (night locks).
